Maximising tenant turnaround
22nd March 2012
A recent project involved a long standing leak into 2 top floor apartments. Both apartments had been vacant for 6 months as the continual leak meant to decorating or re-letting could take place. Using a combination of non-destructive test methods IRT located the ingress point allowing the 2 properties to be refurbished and re-let. The above thermal images show a poor region of detailing where the wall meets the roof. Ingress can be seen here in red and yellow colours adjacent to the wall. The corresponding internal image shows the moisutre ingress in purple and black colours in the corner of the room.
